What does a postnatal Doula do?
As your postnatal Doula I can offer you flexible practical and emotional support to you and your family in your home following the birth of your baby.
My aim would be to help you find the confidence within yourself to recognise your babys needs. I would hope that I would leave mum and dad feeling more confident in their parenting skills.
I can offer breast feeding support.
I will be there for mother or father to discuss any concerns or issues they have and offer a source of information.
I can help with any older siblings in the family, entertaining them, feeding them, etc., while mum rests.
I can look after your baby for you while you sleep or even if you just want to drink a warm cup of tea.
